I struggle with any and all concepts of faith, but this idea of having faith that yourself as a writer with a meaningful destiny seems so absurd yet simple and necessary at the same time. I’ll try not to forget it.

I liked Dune 2, but not Civil War. To me, Civil War took a great premise and focused it on unlikeable characters. I would have been fine with all of them dying. Also, it was ConfusionCore, because they didn’t want to offend anyone.

Denis Villeneuve is from Montreal I believe. I think Enemy is his best film. Really love that one. Though Dune 2 I liked better than Dune 1.

This is perhaps my favourite episode yet. You put into words everything I am feeling and have felt. I'm 21. This Summer it'll be 10 years since I started writing what will be my first self published book. I was lucky to be writing about something people would search for. In terms of traditional publishing, any sort of properly paid writing, I'm just now making a start, and authors I've met have told me 10 years from now to get to where they are. I'm trying just to enjoy all the sights on this long road. That 12 year old me would never have imagined the opportunities I have now, the things I've already learnt and done. And now, even though this third full-length novel as mine is taking twice as long as my first two (unpublished but written since leaving school 2021-22 and 2022), I have faith in the future. And you've just reassured me that this book will get done, when it's ready. I have faith in the journey
